Garnier BB Cream Eye Roll-on review

Hello! I'm writing a post for the Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector Eye Roll-on. I bought the colour light from Boots at £7.49p 7ml.  I've tried this today and I like the effect it gives under the eyes, It feels cold and smooth when applied and the colour pay-off is yellow which is great for dark circles and the active ingredient Haloxyl fight against dark circles and bag to refresh and massage the puffy bag so it disappears.  I applied quite a bit of product as it feels lovely and cold and then I used my ring finger to gently pat the fluid into my skin... It did look a bit to dark for my skin even though I fake tanned a few days ago so the light colour might be a bit too dark for really pale skin... I enjoyed using this eye-roll on and found it does work on my under eye bags, I don't really have huge dark circles but puffy bags from time to time...One downside to this product is the size of it! It came in the usual size box with an extra sleeve which I find wasteful! The size of the eye roll-on is teeny tiny! I had to search in the box after I opened it to find it tucked away in all the extra pieces of box inside... 7ml is not very big for the price, £7.49 is a bit more money than I would pay for the size but it does work for me so I'll probably buy again which will probably be sooner than later if I use it every day!!! Have you tried it yet?

Nivea Lip Butters ~ My Lip Saviour!

Hiya,  I bet by now you have probably seen loads of  blog and review posts for Nivea Lip Butters but I cannot stop myself by posting my excitement about how marvellous these are for dry, flakey lips!  I bought 2  from http://www.superdrug.com at £1.49p each and 16.7g/19ml in each pot... I was having a major problem with dry flakey lips since winter keeps coming and going every 5 minutes, one minute it's snowing,  Next it's sunny outside! I can't keep up!!

I've been using a few chapsticks & lip smackers but I still couldn't get them moisturised enough to get rid of the flakes and dryness that I've been encountering at the moment, especially when I wear a Matte lipstick which totally shows all the scraggy bits of lip skin that I can't get rid of!!! AAArrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!

Anyways! I absolutely have totally fell in love with these 2 Lip butters, Caramel Cream & Raspberry Rose, they both smell amazing and glide onto the lips like a dream!  They have worked wonders with getting my lips back to normal and my lips feel plump, smooth moist etc... I highly recommend buying, trying them, They have other flavours/scents too, I hope to buy those along the way, I don't think I'll be running out of both products anytime soon though!  They come packed into a round tin, not a stick balm that you usually find, more along the lines of Vaseline lip products... They leave a light colour on the lips too, with my complexion ( fair skinned in winter/fake tan in summer) The Caramel cream lip butter looks like a wash of pale gloss whilst the raspberry rose give your lips a pinkish tint... The scents/ fragrance in both are luscious, The raspberry rose smells just like raspberries with a tiny hint of rose & the caramel cream smells like caramel with a hint of milky-ness on the back of it!

So if you're looking for a bargain product that will totally (from my experience) make your lips moist and soft etc.... Here's the product for you!!!

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush Review!

Today I bought the No7 Cleansing Brush, I was given the heads up by Mandi at the No7 Makeup counter at my local Boots store that they would be having the stock in today (Wednesday) and that they are on a promotional price of £15 instead of £25...

I bought it this morning and I had a voucher for £5 off No7 Beauty Products & £3 of No7 Makeup.

I didn't think the voucher would work but Mandi put it through the till and Bingo! £5 Off! so I got a great Bargain for £10 Whoop! Whoop!

I've heard on the grapevine that this is a  kinda Dupe for the Clarisonic except the bristles rotate all the way around instead of osscilating from side to side...

I've never tested the Clarisonic as I would never fork out the price for it as it's not on my budget!

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush. ( 2 AA Batteries Included )
I've given the No7 Cleansing Brush a try and it does pull on the facial skin a touch as it keeps spinning in the one direction! When I applied it to my face the cleanser flicked into my eye so I had to stop to wipe it out so be careful when cleansing with this facial brush,  I've got to get into the swing of cleansing with this as I've been using the Botanics Cleansing brush which is done by hand, No batteries Included!  It has 2 speeds, Press the power button twice to increase the brush speed and get a deeper clean. I only used it on the first setting, press power button once as I have sensitive skin and I felt that it was gentler to my face...

I highly recommend buying this Cleansing Brush as I found it a Bargain price and does a great job!
5 out 5*

The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara by Maybelline

Firstly, I must apologise for not posting on my blog for a very long time, Real life took over and I didn't have time to sit down nevermind blog   (Boo! Hiss!!)

Secondly, Hope you had a fabulous Christmas and Happy New year 2013 is here, It's the 2nd of January and I've got a 2012 Favourites coming up, There's quite a few products so be prepared!!!

My first beauty purchase of 2013 is Maybelline's The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara in Black. £7.99 (9.6ml)   I didn't think I would get hold of this in the UK as I thought it was only released in the USA recently,  I was under the impression that it would be released in the UK in February but I found it in my local Superdrug Yay!!

I totally Love this Mascara and highly recommend it to anyone who loves full long lashes.

I compared it to my other new-ish mascara by Maybelline,  the Falsies Volum' Express FLARED Mascara. £7.99 (10.6ml)

The brush bristles on the Rocket mascara are spikey and it has a thicker wand, Maybelline call it a Supersonic brush wand.

I love the effect that the Rocket mascara gave my lashes, it coated all my lashes and kept a lovely curl, even coated all the small lash hairs on the bottom ones.. One downside is that the bristles can dig into the tightline on the top lash line and they can hurt a little, don't know if this is a design flaw as I've never had a mascara wand hurt before...

I made one eye up with the Rocket Volum' mascara and the other eye with the Falsies Flared Mascara,  I asked my Boyf which eye looked better ( in a man's opinion) and he said the Rocket Volum' mascara one by a mile as it looked more separated and curled !  (blog is a bit image heavy & Excuse my redness on my cheeks as I had just cleansed my skin but not my eye makeup yet)
The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara.

the Falsies Volum' Express Flared Mascara.

The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara.

The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara.

the Falsies Volum' Express Mascara

the Falsies Volum' Express Mascara.

I still love the Falsies Flared but it is drying out a little and clumping after 2 coats, so By far the winner is The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara! YAY!! Go Maybelline!!!

MUA Glitter Magnetic nail polish Review!

I Love this nail polish!!!! I bought the colour Piccadilly Circus from the MUA website http://www.muastore.co.uk/  I think that they're on sale from 31st of October and they cost £3, I paid £13 for a load of MUA products and I got 3 free gifts with my order of anything over £10.

I love this colour nail polish and the circles are easy to make on the nail. I've honestly paid a lot of money for different brand named Magnetic nail polishes in the past and not 1 of them even comes close to the ease of use and the effect of MUA Glitter Magnetic nail polish!!

I am going to buy them all, in every colour they have available, here's a link to all the other colours.

Boots No7 Skincare and Cosmetic/Makeup deals!

Yesterday I had spent over £5 in my Local Boots store and received a coupon with £5 off No7 skincare products and £3 off  No7 Cosmetics also In-store at Boots at the moment is a 3for2 deal on most No7 products!

(Hope you are keeping up with me?)

So Basically I bought One pack of Beautiful skin Quick Thinking facial wipes (£7) from the Beauty section and 2 nail polishes (£5.50 each) worth £18 and I used my coupons with the 3for2 deal and got them for £4.50...( Hurrah!!)

(The detail: The offer excludes gift sets, electrical beauty, beauty services, gifts marked with the green Christmas stickers and reduced-price items. Also, only one voucher can be redeemed per item.)

Of course you don't have to buy the facial wipes and nail polishes, they were the cheapest I could find at the time and I wanted to update my nail polish collection with the latest seasons colours!

To get this to work (You must buy at least one skincare item and one make-up item. As make-up's much cheaper than skincare, picking two make-up items and one skincare will maximise the 3for2 saving.)

To ensure the saving is big stick to the one skincare, two make-up items rule; and ensure the cheapest item isn't far cheaper than the next dearest. It's best to get the things you are missing out of your make-up kit rather than items you don't need just because it's the cheapest option.
